So yeah. Jumping back into blogging with a bang and a Trope that seems to be running the Headspace lately.




Have I mentioned that yet? Non? Oh boy. Okay. Headspace is a sort of concept I use to catagorize my muses. In short, my muses run roughshod around Herzen Castle and have WACKY ADVENTURES! *jazz hands* These muses number in the hundreds, but of the Headspace crew you usually meet:


Bayonetta


Some crazy composite Wesker made of sarcasm, hatred and megalomania (and hatred for his Mun, who blares Ke$ha on the mental MP3 when he doesn't behave)


Dante (who is sleeping with Bayonetta... then again, everyone is hitting that. She doesn't mind so much.)


Lu Bu (Who is mostly around to beat people up)


Professor Layton, Luke Triton and Duke Anton Herzen (Layton is a friend to all, Luke's with Layton, Anton has headaches due to the craziness he has unleashed upon poor castle Herzen)




And a bunch more, but like I said: cast of hundreds. William Birkin and Otacon share a lab, for god's sake. And Jacob Black is a TF2 addict. (and hates his home canon. REALLY hates it.) Dr. Hax sits on his shoulder all the time too.




Liquid has recessive genes. He thinks.




All in all, it's a bigass crossover and I have a plethora of original projects- Tropers: The Reverting, Ascensions, The Faceted, Project Charade... @.@ Wish me luck. Current Headspace plotline is The Great Cookie Embargo: Wesker tried to take the last milano cookie, Konishi was NOT HAVING THAT SHIT and beat the living hell out of him. As a result, there's now a sweet restriction for a week. During this, Wesker tries to figure out "why a week?" and writes a List of People Not To Be Pissed Off.

Tonight's adventure: RE5! I've already beaten it on Pro once or twice, but I decided to come back recently to find, well, I SUCK AT IT. Terribly so, I'm afraid.

ANTICS!

Me: (hears Majini) OH SHI--
Sheva: (shoots the Majini so it falls right on an explosive tripwire, then turns to Chris as if nothing happened)
Me: ...the AI is mocking me.

Me: (hit by bus I forgot would appear) *meekly* Can we try that with less dying now?

Me: STOP CATCHING DEATH.

Me: *wiki walk* *ominous music* ...Oh. Wait a second, there...

Everything Trying To Kill Me

Well. My day's been... entertaining.

Wake up at 9AM. Go with assorted family to the Home Repo and buy new toilet for downstairs bathroom.

Come back. Bash head off roof on the Escalade getting in. Get home. Toilet is too big.

Stay at home with Grandmere. Type more game ideas. (Hey, wouldya look at that- my game has its own unique battle system now!) Get clawed by Lu Bu The Death Kitten, attempting t0 be fed.

Feed cat. Nearly fall downstairs due to slippery socks.

Sit down, type, bash knee on underside of table. Get up, repeat.

Attempt to play The World Ends With You. Success until Lu Bu The Death kitten demands attention.

...You get the idea. Not included are the gauntlet of boss battles I ran today: El Gigante in RE4 (Fail) Shadow Kanji in Persona 4 (Fail) The Scorpion Tank in Folklore (Fail) and trying to successfully invade a fiefdom west of Omi in Samurai Warriors 2: Empires (more fail).

Wow. I probably should have just stayed home and read Farenheit 411 today, huh?

MST3K Mantra

School is coming and I have English left. By August 24, I need to finish Farenheit 411 (:D) and the Old Testament (D:).

Farenheit shouldn't be tough. I have TV Tropes and Sparknotes (never been good at spotting symbolism, so I picked 'em up) to back me up, ditto on Old Man And The Sea. Bible? Yeah, not getting anywhere there.

And now: Why Old Man And The Sea Irritates Us.

THE BOOK IS BORING. Least favorite Hemmingway story EVAR. Normally, I enjoy me some Hemmingway. OMATS just put me to sleep. And seriously, they really pound the religious symbolism in. I didn't NEED my SparkNotes to pick up on it. (Anvillicious, anyone?)

And I need to memorize 33 vocab words. Vocab's my strong point and I knew most of them already, so golden. The questions? Not so much.

Anyway, I SHOULD be finished on time. Provided no act of god, flash flood, or Wiki Walk catches me off guard.

Doomy Dooms Of Doom!

...All right, that's the first sign TV Tropes is ruining my life. The next sign is... oh, I'm on?

All right! I'm Lana P., but most just call me Tofu, and that's what I'll go by here. It's simpler.

What is the point of this blog? ...in all actuality? None whatsoever. Though my personal goal is to name all of my blog entries after Tropes. Yes. The Tropes that are currently ruining my life. Don't think about it. (If this was TV Tropes, there'd be a PotHole to the MST3K Mantra page.)

So, why the title? Very, very simple, mi amigo/amiga. The dreaded part of life we call "senior year" begins in two bloody weeks from now. This means many things:

1) Going to bed at 3/5 AM will only be an option on Saturdays (the horror!)

2) I get to make my yearly trip to the mall (when I go to college, my apartment will be close to there. Oh joy, I'll have to make a whole seperate budget for video games AGAIN...)

3) I re-enter the BPA Competition and this year, make it to Nationals (IT WILL HAPPEN. 5 Regional attempts, and Kamina willing my VB.NET Entry is what will get me there!)

4) Possibly drive (if I get my permit... dear Kamina*. o.o Me on the road would mean bad things.)

5) Getting to see Rocky Horror Picture Show live (SCORE! I'll be there as Columbia, if you're looking for me, Blogosphere! ...That implies somebody's actually reading this thing. Which I'm certain isn't happening.)

...I've had enough numbers. All right. Posts... will have no sort of schedule as I do not adhere to them. Expect them as they come. Or when things that amuse me happen.
